Application: to apply the patch, peel back one of the two protective paper parts starting from a corner and carefully place the adhesive part of the patch onto the affected area, then gently remove the second protective paper in the same way while adhering the patch to the epidermis (see drawings below).
Make sure that the skin is clean and dry and that the scar is completely covered by the patch. If it is not big enough to cover the entire affected area, apply another patch nearby (at the side). Conversely, for smaller scars the patch can be cut to the desired size before removing the protective paper as shown in the drawing below.
Kaloidon Patch® can be used on any part of the body, including the face. The patch should be replaced daily.
Patch removal: using a sponge (or a cotton swab) soaked in lukewarm water, dab the skin around the patch, then lift a flap of the patch, continue wetting the affected area and slowly remove it.
